Garryland

On November 15th 2009, I declared my own private nation, Garryland, as allowed per the treaty from the Montevideo Convention. As stated in the treaty:

The state as a person of international law should possess the following qualifications:
a permanent population a defined territory government capacity to enter into relations with the other states.
Garryland meets all  of the stated qualifications is therefore a free, independent and sovereign nation. Garryland has a permanent population of 1, myself. Garryland has a defined territory as is spelled out on the deed to my property. Garryland has a government, a monarchy, and I 2declared myself as the king. Garryland has capacity to enter in to relations with other states.

1) The name “Garry Archer” was my given name. I have since taken on the name I am known as, Grimnir, I therefore will now be known as King Grimnir.

2) I really had no desire for any form of government at all, however, in order to comply with the Montevideo Convention and being as it has no effect on anyone besides myself, I have declared that Garryland is a kingdom and I, it’s king.
